The Core Challenge
How can a perfume brand visually balance the clinical codes of science with the mystical allure of emotions, creating a design that feels both pharmaceutical and enchantingly magical?
Visual Language and Application
The graphic design for Elyxir, a fragrance line, plays on the paradox between science and emotion. Dominated by clinical white, the identity blends pharmaceutical aesthetics with esoteric charm. Applied to packaging, stationery, window displays, and bags, the visuals mimic scientific formulas—each scent presented as a numbered "spell" with unexpected ingredients.
Concept and Humor
Bottles are inspired by medical containers, with minimalist, functional shapes. Smaller formats feature droppers, reinforcing the scientific, "drop-by-drop" precision of these dangerously magical elixirs. Elyxir humorously merges chemistry and alchemy, reason and feeling, suggesting that even love can be measured—though never truly controlled.
